Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 12, 2026.

This Privacy Policy explains what information evawatches.com (“Evawatches”, “we”, “us”) collects when you visit the site, why, and the choices you have.

Information you give us

  • Contact form. Your name, email address, subject and message. We use them only to reply to you.
  • Newsletter. If you subscribe, your email address. We use it only to send the newsletter, and every email has an unsubscribe link. Our newsletter is delivered through Mailchimp, which stores your address on our behalf.

Comments are switched off on Evawatches, and you do not need an account to use the site.

Information collected automatically

  • Server logs. Like most websites, our host records technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. This is used to keep the site running and secure.
  • Page view counts. We count how often articles are read so we can see which ones are useful.

Cookies and advertising

Evawatches shows ads through Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. To learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.

Affiliate links

When you click a link to a retailer such as Amazon or Walmart, that retailer and its affiliate network may set cookies so the purchase can be credited to us. Those cookies are governed by the retailer’s own privacy policy. See our Affiliate Disclosure.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the services that run the site on our behalf: our web host, Mailchimp for the newsletter, and Google for advertising, as described above.

How long we keep it

Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Server logs are kept for a limited period by our host.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email. To make a request, contact us. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

Evawatches is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
